Why We Ditched Halloween (and What We’re Doing Instead)
Every Autumn, the internet floods with glowing pumpkins wearing witch hats, black cats, big bats, and skeletons in bow ties.
Everywhere you look you are swamped by Halloween 🦇
And every Autumn, I quietly skip over them.
Not because I hate Halloween, I am all for people dressing up and enjoying themselves, but because not every family leans into it.

Some kids are sensitive.
Some kids are neurodiverse.
Some families don’t celebrate.
And honestly, sometimes you just want to enjoy the season without being chased by a ghost 👻
This year, I wanted something different.
Something warm, calm, and joyfully seasonal 🍁
So I created it myself.
A Different Kind of Autumn Printable
I’ve designed 30 autumn-themed colouring pages for kids that celebrate all the things I do love about this time of year: foxes in the leaves, acorns and squirrels, mushrooms on mossy stumps, and children playing in the leaves.
🎃 No Halloween.
👻 No jump scares.
🍂 Just nature, wonder, and creativity.

What’s Inside the Colouring Pack?
The pages are all black line drawings, detailed enough for older kids, simple enough for little ones.

There’s a mix of:
- Woodland animals like hedgehogs, foxes, deer, and owls
- Autumn scenes with trees, apples, and puddles
- Diverse children enjoying the season
- Forest fungi (yes, including the red and white ones we all love)
And yes, it’s all downloadable and printable with no shipping, no waiting!
